Forgery & Verso San Francisco

The location has been part of the historical fabric of San Francisco for many years, with past lives as a printing press and a glass blowing studio. Now it reigns as one of San Francisco’s best entertainment venues.

In partnership with PlumpJack Group, Meriwether transformed a historical warehouse space in San Francisco’s up-and-coming Mid-Market district into two distinctive hospitality properties: Forgery & Verso. Located in a 2,000 sqft bi-level space, Forgery reigns as one of San Francisco’s best new cocktail bars, featuring signature cocktails by partners Ken Luciano and Jacques Bezuidenhout, an expansive and distinct 300+ spirit selection, plus wines by the glass; beers on tap and by the bottle; and non-alcoholic selections.

Verso, which translates to “on the turned page” in Latin, is located next door in the space of a former printing press, and is now San Francisco’s newest music venue featuring weekly club events along with the world’s best DJs and live performers. The dramatic warehouse location opens up to a spacious dance floor flanked by a 20-foot long, white Carrera marble bar, allowing guests to conveniently order cocktails while enjoying world class DJs and live electronic acts.
