Transfer Telluride Telluride, Colorado
In the fall of 2013, Meriwether acquired a parcel of land in downtown Telluride known as the Four Corners. Purchased from the Zoline family, whose patriarch is the founder of Telluride Ski Resort, the property is located on one of the most iconic sites in Telluride, kitty corner from the gondola, and is effectively the last infill development parcel in town. In partnership with Telluride Arts and the Zoline Family, Meriwether embarked on a redevelopment project christened Telluride Transfer, and broke ground on the first phase of development in Winter 2015. When completed, the mixed-use development will include luxury residences, affordable housing, commerical space and a restoration of the iconic Transfer Warehouse; turning it into a public asset and cultural epicenter for the arts, events and community gatherings. The restoration of this historical part of town will effectively activate a vibrant cultural corridor linking the ski resort and Mountain Village Gondola with Downtown Telluride.
