Based on a long and successful track record in Steamboat Springs, Meriwether was engaged to revise and execute on a master plan that reflects the current demands of the Steamboat market.
In the summer of 2013 Meriwether was approached by one of its existing capital partners to assume management of all aspects of a Project they acquired in a deeply distressed transaction. The Project was part of a large land assemblage known as Wildhorse Meadows, located at the base of Steamboat Ski Resort in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Initially planned for over 1,000,000 square feet of residential and commercial, Meriwether immediately re-entitled and redesigned the first phase of product to more thoughtfully align with market demand. Beginning in the spring of 2014, Meriwether managed all aspects of the development, re-branding, sales and marketing of Phase I of the project. Simultaneously, Meriwether acted in the role of Master Developer, executing on the reconceived master plan and updating all development agreements. Meriwether completed its role in 2016.
